What does "sold as pictured" mean

The photos are the condition report. Every listing is photographed to show exactly what you're getting, flaws included. If a crease, scuff, or edge ding exists, it's in the pictures. What you see is what ships.

Is everything one of one

Almost always. This is a curated resale shop, not a warehouse. When something sells, it's gone, and there's no restock button. If you're hunting something specific, put it on the Hunt List and you'll get an email when it turns up.

What's a graded card, and why does the case matter

Graded cards have been professionally evaluated by companies like CGC or PSA, assigned a numeric condition grade, and sealed in a tamper-evident plastic slab. The slab is part of the product. Grades are the closest thing collecting has to a universal condition language, which is why graded cards hold and build value differently than raw ones.

Where do the Japanese items come from

Sourced directly from Japan. Auction houses, secondhand shops, and collector markets, then imported. Telephone cards, doujinshi, magazine furoku, and promo items in this shop were made for the Japanese domestic market, which is exactly why most of them are hard to find anywhere else.

Will Japanese media work on my player

Depends on the format. Japanese VHS uses NTSC, same as the US, so tapes play fine in American VCRs. Japanese DVDs are Region 2 and will not play in standard US players without a region-free deck. Japanese Blu-rays are mostly Region A, same as the US, and play fine. One more thing worth knowing: Japanese domestic releases are typically Japanese audio only, no English dub or subtitles. How does shipping work

Orders ship within 3 to 5 business days from the Sacramento, California area, with tracking provided. Graded cards and slabs ship in protective packaging built for the job, not an envelope and a prayer. Full details in the shipping policy.

What's your return policy

Because photos are the condition report and most items are one of one, returns for change of mind, sizing, or condition concerns already shown in the listing generally aren't accepted. If an item arrives damaged or materially different from how it was described, contact us within 30 days of receipt and it gets made right with a refund or replacement.
