Ricoh LX-22S XOBBOX See Through 35mm Focus Free Film Camera New in Box 1993 35mm

Ricoh LX-22S, the transparent see-through camera known to collectors as the XOBBOX. Released in 1993 as a limited production variant of the standard LX-22, with a clear body shell and colorfully painted internal gears, flash, and film transport on full display. New old stock, unused, and complete with its original box, multilingual owner’s manual (English, Spanish, French, German, Chinese), and wrist strap.

This is the version people actually want from the LX-22 line. The black LX-22 is the common one. The clear 1993 XOBBOX was made in limited numbers and is the piece that nails the Y2K transparent electronics look collectors and film shooters are after now. Finding one unused this far out, still boxed with its paperwork, is the hard part. Most survivors were shot, scuffed, or separated from their box years ago.

Built simple on purpose: fixed focus Ricoh 35mm f4.5 lens, fixed 1/125 shutter, built-in auto flash, self timer, automatic film loading and advance, and a manual ISO dial (100/200/400/1000). Runs on 2 AA batteries. Load film, point, shoot.

Condition: the camera is clean and unused. The box shows light shelf wear and minor storage marks, shown honestly in the photos. All original contents are present.
